RACE HOSTING

RACE HOSTING
We would like it so everybody can organise and host, this enables everybody to have a chance to race whatever cars/tracks combination takes their fancy, meaning all sorts of variety is possible. in theory as it stands,
1 - you register [LEARNER DRIVER]
2 - you introduce yourself
3 - you claim your race number
4 - sign up, turn up and finish an organised race night
5 - you are now a TRACK DAY DRIVER
6 - you carry on proving yourself to be reliable and a decent chap
7 - once you are known to be reliable ect you are now a RACING DRIVER
8 - you are now free to organise and host race nights as you see fit
check the calendar for an available night that suits you
start a new topic in the relevant forum
cut and paste the race set up, fill it in as you wish,
when other drivers sign on, edit your opening post to include them on the grid list.
on the night, set it up, invite the racers signed on and get them in
That's your race night !
The race set up guide is not set in stone, its your event, however generally I want to see use of this system, I am a great fan of it, it allows everybody time to prepare themselves, and their cars for that event. A, or a few warm up laps prior to race start allows every body to adjust to the vehicle characteristics ect, I believe this is a massive help to try to avoid first turn pile ups,and i believe this system promotes the feeling of racing, the build up, the pre race driver banter ect. This forum has been set up for genuine petrol head racing enthusiasts that are looking for hard clean race events, not casual gamers looking to fill their friends list !
After the event, start a topic in chequered flag with the same title as your race event, and post the race result screenshots, and any videos, race reports and or excuses
Good luck ! and most importantly have fun
